General Terms

 Free Bet

1. If not used, the Free Bet will expire 7 days after being credited (unless otherwise stated in the specific terms of a given offer).
2. The Free Bet cannot be used to place multi-line multiple bets (e.g. Trixie’s, Patents, Yankees etc.).
3. Should the Free Bet be placed on a selection that is later voided, the stake will be returned to your account as a Free Bet.
4. The Free Bet cannot be used to place in-play (live) bets.
5. The Free Bet is non-refundable and the Free Bet stake is not included in any returns.
6. Placement of a Free Bet on an each-way market is considered one bet (including the win and place portion). The return from this bet must be greater than the total value of the Free Bet placed for winnings to be paid out.
7. A redeemed Free Bet will not count towards qualification to view streamed events.
8. The following terms apply to all Betway promotional Free Bets (excluding the Free Bet Welcome Offer). Should you require assistance with any of these conditions, please do not hesitate to contact Customer Support.
9. The general terms & conditions shall apply to all interactions with Betway and must be read with all relevant promotional terms and conditions.
10. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all deposits have a playthrough of at least once (1), before a Free Bet specifically related to the deposit will be activated.
11. Betway Sports Promotions department will be the sole judge in respect of honouring any and all promotional offers. Betway Sports reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend any offer and its terms at any time, including the cancellation of the promotion without any prior notice. Any customer deviating from the promotional rules may be disqualified without notice.

What are Flexi Bonuses/Free Bets?

Flexi Bonus is the name for any bonus credited to your bonus balance. Customers need to opt in to receive a bonus. Bonuses are awarded after logging in or after depositing:

Flexi Bonuses – Bonuses are awarded in the form of free bonuses (Bonus Credits) or deposit based match bonuses. All bonuses will have wagering requirements attached which must be cleared before the bonus or any winnings associated in your bonus account are available for withdrawal. This will not stop you from withdrawing anything in your cash balance.

Free Bets – Free bets are given to customers to wager on any sports. Winnings will be paid into your cash balance minus the initial free bet amount and are not subject to any additional wagering requirements.

How does the Flexi Bonus work?

‘Flexi Bonus’ is the name for any bonus credited to your bonus balance. Essentially it gives you the freedom to forfeit your bonus balance and withdraw your cash balance at any time without being tied in by the wagering requirements of the bonus. Are there wagering requirements on my bonus?

Wagering requirements apply to bonus money but not to free bets. See below for our easy guide to wagering requirements:

Welcome deposit bonus and certain existing customer offers -  in order to withdraw the welcome bonus and any associated winnings you must wager an amount equal to 6 x the amount of the bonus awarded. Please always check the terms and conditions of the offer.

All other bonuses - in order to withdraw any other bonus and any associated winnings you must wager an amount equal to 6 x the amount of the bonus awarded

When can I withdraw?

That’s the best thing about our bonuses, you can withdraw your cash balance at any time! All that happens is you forfeit your current bonus balance at the time of withdrawal. If you don’t want to lose your bonus, simple carry on wagering until you have met the applicable wagering requirements. But remember your cash balance is yours whenever you want it.

We will aim to pay your withdrawal as quickly as possible but withdrawal periods may vary at weekends.

Do I have to take a bonus?

Of course not! If you do not want Welcome Bonus, contact support who will happily remove it for you whether you have started playing or not.

How do Free Bets work?

There are no wagering requirements on your Free bets. Winnings will be paid into your cash balance minus the initial free bet amount and are not subject to any additional wagering requirements.

For example, a €10 Free Bet placed at 5/1 (6.00) would return €50 to your cash balance - that is, its winnings minus the initial free bet stake.

Advantage Play

We offer our valued customers promotions and bonuses to reward them. To enable us to continue offering these promotions, we have a zero tolerance policy on activity which is designed to take advantage of our offers in violation of these terms. If any of the activity identified below occurs, Betway reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to void Free Bet or Bonus stakes or void any stakes funded by the use of previously awarded Free Bets or Bonuses and withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winning from such voided bets. Betway also reserves the right to stop any further bonuses, promotions and/or offers and remove the Free Bet or Bonus balance from these and/or linked accounts.

Examples of advantage play include:

1. Using more than one account to claim multiple bonuses and/or colluding with other customers for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage (for example, betting patterns on the same events/markets that are identified across multiple accounts)
2. Two tier betting (where large bets are placed on high variance outcomes, before switching to normal variance outcomes to clear wagering requirements)
3. Multiple account strategy / proxy account strategy
4. Using a VPN or masking IP address
5. Artificially manipulating affiliate CPAs or revenue share
6. If You have arrived from a website which promotes gambling in a manner in violation of these terms.
7. Using a Welcome bonus, Free Bet, Bonus, enhanced payment or any other offer/promotion which results in guaranteed profits regardless of the outcome (whether individually or as part of a group)
